Who We Are
Flag Replacement, Funded by Communities
American Flag Rescue™ is dedicated to replacing worn, faded, and tattered American flags — free to the owner upon approval. We believe every flag flying over an American home, business, or public space deserves to fly with pride.
Anyone can submit a photo of a worn flag they see in their community along with a name and address. We review each submission and, upon approval, provide a brand new flag at no cost to the owner. You can deliver it personally or we will mail it directly. Our replacements are made possible entirely through donations from Americans who share our commitment to honoring the flag.

How It Works
A Flag Needs Replacing
A flag is worn, faded, or tattered and no longer fits to fly with pride.
We Replace It — Free Upon Approval
Submit a photo of a flag you see flying that is worn, faded, or tattered with a name and address. Upon approval, we provide a brand new flag at no cost to the owner.
The Old Flag Is Retired
Your old flag is retired with dignity in a proper ceremony following the U.S. Flag Code — the honor it has earned.
